resources for New Believers

Just Said "yes" to Jesus?
Best Decision Ever.

Congratulations!

Now that you are saved, Jesus invites you to experience new life on Earth. It’s not always easy, but each day is an opportunity for a new start. Here are a few things you can do today to grow your faith and nurture your new relationship with God.

  1. GET A BIBLE & READ IT

If you don’t already have one, you can pick up a new bible from our bookstore. Start in the book of John, and go from there. You can also find tons of free bible reading plans in our resource library.

  2. Pray & Talk with God

Making a daily habit of prayer is essential for a relationship with God. Tell Him what’s on your mind, how amazing He is, and how you’d like to do better. You can find prayer guides in our resource library, too.

  3. Upgrade your Music

Fill your mind with positivity, and protect your heart from the ways of this world. The right music can change your life! We’re creating a Spotify playlist of our favorite “Jesus Jams” (Coming soon!).

  4. Get Connected

For a new believer, surrounding yourself with fellow believers is key! We’re a church where misfits fit. Find the best groups for you and get involved! We have over 25 service groups, connect groups, and life groups between our 2 church locations, so you’re bound to find where you fit!

What else can you do to grow your relationship with Christ?

  5. Watch or listen to the live Archive

Watch to past messages in our Live Video Archive. Or, if podcasts are your thing, you can press play and simply listen. It’s the same great message, 2 different ways. You can also find service notes and related encouragement for each message.

  6. Get Stable in your saddle

Stable In The Saddle (S.I.T.S. for short) is our New Believers Fundamentals course, and will soon be available online (for free)! If you’re looking to get started in your new walk with Christ, check out the S.I.T.S. Digital Course (coming soon).

  7. Get washed clean through baptism

When you accept Jesus into your heart, you are born again. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward love. To symbolize the cleansing of your soul, your spirit, and your physical body, wash the sin away with a water baptism. We hold community baptisms (and celebrations) every second Sunday of the month.
